Stereo trigger to DIN8 female cable – 12V safe for Bang & Olufsen Beolab

This stereo trigger to DIN8 female cable is specially designed for safely driving Bang & Olufsen Beolab speakers via receivers and streamers with a 12V DC trigger output.
The cable features an integrated resistor that converts the 12V trigger signal to 4.5V,
exactly what Beolab speakers require.
This prevents damage to the Beolab electronics and ensures the speakers switch on and off safely and automatically.
The 3.5 mm mini-jack connects to the 12V DC-Out (trigger) of a receiver or streamer.
The DIN8 female connector accommodates one Powerlink cable.
Two Beolab speakers (left and right) can easily be connected using a Powerlink Y-cable.
This solution ensures that the Beolab speakers activate automatically as soon as the receiver or streamer is switched on, and switch off again when turned off. 12V trigger - 4.5V protected signal

Humming or noise over the trigger connection?

Try placing this cable between the trigger; it disconnects the ground.

This cable does not work with the Beolab 5, 50, and 90.

The BeoCenter 2 has 1 connection; with this Y-cable, you create 2 connections to connect 2 Beolab speakers.
Also suitable for Beolab speakers with 1 connection for daisy-chaining, e.g. Beolab3/Beolab8000.
This cable is compatible with our trigger cables, which also have 1 connection.

If you need more connections, the 1-to-5 adapter can be a solution.

Y-cable length approx. 30 cm and 3.5 mm thick, unshielded.
Cable is very flexible.
