Powerlink cable MK2 – Bang & Olufsen Beolab connection

The Powerlink MKII cable is a fully wired 8-core DIN 8 Powerlink cable designed for use with Bang & Olufsen BeoLab loudspeakers featuring a round DIN-8 connector.
The cable transmits balanced audio signals (Left/Right), data, and speaker on/off control signals.

Two cable versions are available:

3.5 mm diameter – 8-core, fully wired, suitable for standard installations.

5.0 mm diameter (shielded) – 8-core with double shielding on the audio channels (L/R) to minimize hum and interference.

The 5.0 mm shielded Powerlink cable is recommended for longer cable runs and environments sensitive to electrical noise. Powerlink MKII cables are compatible with all BeoLab loudspeakers using a DIN-8 connection, including classic models such as BeoLab Penta, 3000, 4000, 6000, 8000 and similar.

For newer Bang & Olufsen loudspeakers using RJ45 Powerlink connections, dedicated RJ45 Powerlink cables are required.
