Beolab Penta cable

For the info window to function properly, the MKII cables are essential.
However, when switching to an RJ45 connection, a different cable is required.

Short adapter cables are available to enable the info window and the on/off function of the BeoLink Passive.

The info window will no longer work with the Beo Connect Core/Core and TVs with RJ45 connections.

Handmade special cable with RJ45 to din8-female.

Some beolab3000/4500/5000 and the beolab penta's have problems on a RJ45 connection of Bang & Olufsen.
Info window does not work, or the speakers do not want to switch on or off (beolink Passive).
This cable fits in all RJ45 Powerlink connections of B&O and is equipped with a din8 female to which existing din8 powerlink plugs can simply be plugged in.
This cable makes the beolab speakers with info window work again as well as switch off the beolink passive.
Cable is around 20 cm long, shielded and MKII cable (full-wired)

Connect the BeoSound Core to the BeoLink Passive,

this is a special adapted cable, the Dinplug is soldered differently than the standard cable.
A standard RJ45 to Din8 has the disadvantage that it does NOT disable the passive or allow the info screen to work

* beosound moment, essence, Core & connect core & beovisions no longer provide information to beolab with information windows after entering RJ45 connections.

If the BeoLab Pentas/3000/4500/5000 are looped through to each other, only 1 of this cable is needed.
