Beosound 9000 Speaker Sense Adapter (Gives Remote Control Functions When No Speakers Are Connected)

Beosound 9000 Speaker Sense Adapter When you use Beosound 9000 without speakers connected (ie. via a TV or amplifier), it will ignore remote control commands.

Simply add this adapter to the spare PL socket to restore full functionality!

Connect your Beosound/center via powerlink to the latest generation of TVs.

This cable is suitable for the PIN9 (AV-in) on your TV, the types Avant MKI, Beoplav V1 and Beovision 11 have this connection.

The Avant MKII, horizon, harmony and eclipse have minijack as LINE-IN.

powerlink connection (din8) in the powerlink Pin9 in the tv, put tv on av input and play cd or radio from the connected component, keep in mind that the connected component must increase its volume which it should give or the TV will not receive a signal. First try to set the volume to 50 and use your default volume of the TV, if it is too low you can increase the volume of the connected device, if it is correct it can be programmed so that you do not have to increase it during use.

When using the BeoSound 9000 you also need the speaker sense if there are no speakers connected to.

Use this cable to connect external audio devices to a Beovision with pin9 as the input line.

This pin9 connection is on the Beovision 11-12, Avant MKI TVs, view your device before ordering it.

To get a good display, the connected device must have sufficient volume to receive an input into the TV, the TV has a regulated input (volume controlled).

Use this cable to connect your B&O Beolab 3500 or LCS9000 speaker to an iPod, non-B&O TV or Airport Express and stream your music with Airplay from your iPhone or Apple device.

This high quality cable will allow you to connect a Bang and Olufsen Beolab 3500 or LCS9000 link room speaker directly to your Airport Express, iPod, non-B&O TV or any device with a headphone socket. Compatibility: This cable will fit both versions of Beolab 3500. A B&O remote (either Beo4 or Beolink 1000) is needed to set the speaker to MCL mode (Beolab 3500 mk.1/LCS9000) or Powerlink mode (Beolab 3500 mk.2) each time it is switched on. For Beolab 3500 mk/1 or LCS9000, please press MENU 0 4 GO on a Beo4 or MENU 0 4 PLAY on a Beolink 1000, or for Beolab 3500 mk.2 please press MENU MENU 0 4 GO on a Beo4 or MENU MENU 0 4 PLAY on a Beolink 1000 (please ensure that the "GO" or "PLAY" button is only pressed briefly).  Volume control is then managed from the connected device (eg. TV, iPod, etc).  To turn off the speaker, press the “Power Off” button on the remote as usual.
We chose 5 pin DIN cables for the Beolab 3500 mk.2 cables as they fit and work perfectly in the 7 pin DIN Aux sockets on most B&O systems. Little known fact: the extra two pins are only used for sending remote control data to other B&O products - hence they are spare in this application.  Our Beolab 3500 mk/1 and LCS9000 cables do need the extra two pins, so these have 7 pin plugs fitted!

Before first use (and after power cuts) please press MENU 0 9 GO ^ (up arrow) CD CD

on a Beo4 or MENU 0 9 PLAY ^ (up arrow) CD CD on a Beolink 1000. 

Volume control is then managed from the B&O remote or from the volume wheel on the Beolab 2000. 

To turn off the speaker, press the “Power Off” button on the remote as usual.
